LEWISBURG, (Pa.)—Packwood House Museum is pleased to announce they will be participating once again in the annual
Raise the Region campaign, organized by the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania to help communities in
Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties. Raise the Region 2017 is an online giving event that provides an opportunity for people who care about their community to come together and raise as much money as possible for local non-profits. Last year, the campaign raised over $1.3 million for nearly 300 non-profits in the region. Since its inception in 2013, the fundraiser has raised in excess of $4.3 million. This year’s campaign is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 8th, and will run through 11:59 pm on Thursday, March 9th.
Museum supporters interested in participating in this fundraiser should visit www.raisetheregion.org during the fundraising time period and select Packwood House Museum as the organization they would like to support. Additionally, each gift will be stretched by a generous contribution from Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships. Donations to the Museum can also help raise additional support for them by qualifying them for monetary prizes. All gifts are tax deductible.
