LEWISBURG, (Pa.) – Packwood House Museum is pleased to announce the next installment in its summer kids’ series will be held on Tuesday, June 25th, from 10:30 a.m. until noon. “Folktales,” featuring Welsh-born Fiona Powell, will delight kids of all ages as Powell, dressed as a weaver, tells stories and tales from around the world while she spins at her wheel. The program is open to all ages.
Packwood House Museum’s 2018 Summer Programs for Kids runs June 19th through August 14th. Each session will be held 10:30 a.m. until noon on Tuesday mornings at the museum’s Tour Center, located at 15 North Water Street in Lewisburg, unless otherwise noted. All programs are free, but space is limited and the museum requests that parents pre-register their children by calling the museum at 570-524-0323. Parents are also asked to call the museum if they need to cancel a reservation, as these programs are very popular and there is usually a waiting list. Funding for the programs has been provided by a grant from the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts. All supplies will be provided.
