LEWISBURG, (Pa.)–The Friends of Packwood House Museum have announced that their annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11, beginning at 2:30pm in the museum’s Tour Center, located at 15 North Water Street in Lewisburg. The meeting will include election of officers for 2014-2015, a report on the last year of fundraising activities, and any other business as needed. LEWISBURG, (Pa.)—Packwood House Museum is pleased to announce their participation in the second annual Raise the Region campaign, organized by the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania to help communities in Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties. Raise the Region 2014 is a “unique, online giving event that provides an opportunity for people who care about their community to come together and raise as much money as possible for local non-profits.”
LEWISBURG, (Pa.)–Packwood House Museum will hold a free Valentine’s Day Card Workshop on Friday, February 7th, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Museum’s Tour Center. The workshop will be lead by Susan Colon, who will show participants how to make beautiful, artistic valentines using various papers, decorations, and rubber stamps.
