LEWISBURG, (Pa.)—Packwood House Museum is pleased to announce their participation in the second annual Raise the Region campaign, organized by the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania to help communities in Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties. Raise the Region 2014 is a “unique, online giving event that provides an opportunity for people who care about their community to come together and raise as much money as possible for local non-profits.”
Last year, the campaign raised over $800,000 for the region. This year’s campaign is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 12th, and will run through 11:59 pm on Thursday, March 13th.
Museum supporters interested in participating in this fundraiser should visit www.raisetheregion.org and select Packwood House Museum as the organization they would like to support. Additionally, each gift will be stretched by a generous contribution from Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships. Donations to the Museum can also help raise additional support for them by qualifying them for monetary prizes. All gifts are tax deductible.
