LEWISBURG, (Pa.)–The Packwood House Museum is now accepting donations of items for its annual Attic Tag Sale, which will be held February 26 – March 9, 2019. The sale, held in the Museum’s Tour Center, is one of the museum’s most popular and successful fund-raisers. All proceeds benefit Packwood House Museum. Items that can be sold include books, jewelry, glass, china, kitchenware, furniture, toys, lamps, postcards, sporting equipment, craft items, holiday decorations – anything except for televisions, computers and other electronics, encyclopedia sets and clothing, although the Museum does accept vintage accessories. Kitchen appliances will be accepted but must be in working order. All donations are tax-deductible.
Through January 5, donations can be dropped off at the Tour Center during the Museum’s regular business hours of Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for the holidays: Packwood House will close for Thanksgiving November 22-24 and Christmas December 25-January 1. From January 7 through February 9, the Museum will be closed for Winter Break, so please make an appointment to drop off your items during this period by calling (570) 524-0323.
