LEWISBURG, (Pa.) — Packwood House Museum is now accepting donations of items in new or used-but-good condition for its annual Attic Tag Sale, which will be held from February 25 through March 7, 2020. The sale, held in the Museum’s Tour Center at 15 North Water Street, Lewisburg, is one of the museum’s most popular and successful fundraisers. Items that can be sold include books and puzzles, jewelry, glassware, china, toys and games, kitchenware, furniture, lamps, knickknacks and baskets, sporting equipment, and craft items. Absolutely no televisions, computers, electronics, bed pillows, or encyclopedias OF ANY KIND will be accepted. The Museum also cannot sell clothing or shoes, although they will accept vintage accessories. Items should be clean and kitchen appliances MUST work. All donations are tax-deductible, and all proceeds benefit Packwood House Museum.
Due to limits in staff and volunteers, donors are asked to call ahead at (570) 524-0323 to schedule a delivery time, as the Tour Center closes during tours. The Museum will also close for Christmas from December 25 through January 1. Please do not leave donations on the porch or property after hours!
