LEWISBURG, (Pa.) – The drawing for the 30th Annual Champagne & Orchids Dinner Raffle will be held in the museum’s Tour Center.
The winning ticket holder and seven guests will share champagne and hors d’ oeuvres in the museum’s Reception Room, followed by a seven-course gourmet meal in the museum’s Dining Room. Designed, prepared, and served by the students of The School of Business and Hospitality at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, the unique dining experience will also include a tour of the first floor of the museum by Jennifer Snyder, Museum Administrator.
All proceeds from the ticket sales benefit Packwood House Museum.

An exhibit featuring recreations of famous paintings using props, costumes, makeup, and/or creative interpretation. Imagine a frosted jar becoming a home to a fairy! That is exactly what we will be making. Children will make their own fairy lanterns, decorated with flowers, berries and other lovely items from the forests where the fairy folks live. Led by Susan Colón.

“Anytime is the perfect time to think of the magical world of fairies. We will be making a fairy display, and Hobbits for those who prefer. Using things we would find in the magical land of fairies and hobbits, each child will use their imagination to make a fairy garden of their very own design. Children who have fairies or items they would like to add to their gardens are encouraged to do so. Fairy believers unite!”
Led by Susan Colón, the workshop will provide the child with the materials to make a small fairy garden with natural and silk floral materials for a design that lasts all year long and does not require watering. This allows the child to build and add to the fairy garden or woodland scape and decorate it for a variety of holidays and special occasions.
