Raise your glass to the arts – add to your collection – and celebrate with seasonal food and brew!
An “add to your collection” fundraising show that will feature priced-to-sell art from several local art collectors. Packwood House will collect a 100% commission on art purchases.
A two-day “Octoberfest” reception will kick off the show. Tickets will be sold to the kick off event, which will feature music, Octoberfest-inspired fare, local brews, wine, punch, and lemonade.
Opening reception will be during Lewisburg’s annual Stroll Through the Arts on November 4 from 6-10 p.m.
Packwood House Museum will hold their Annual Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, April 1, 2017, with a Colonial Williamsburg theme. Raffle tickets for the fundraiser are now on sale in the museum’s Tour Center at 15 North Water Street, Lewisburg. Chances can be purchased for $5.00 each or six for $25.00. The winning ticket holder and seven guests will share refreshments and hors d’ oeuvres followed by a gourmet meal inspired by the historic city famous for its stately buildings, lovely gardens and restaurants serving authentic colonial foods, in the museum’s Dining Room. The full menu will be announced at a later date. Designed, prepared, and served by the students of The School of Business and Hospitality at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, the unique dining experience will also include a tour of the first floor of the museum by Jennifer Snyder, Museum Administrator. The drawing for the raffle will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. in the museum’s Tour Center.
